Welcome to Dignity Tours

Your Journey Through Scotland Guided with Passion

I’ve been guiding for more than a decade, beginning my career as a driver‑guide with Highland Experience and Rabbie’s Trail Burners before developing the more personal, guest‑centred approach I offer today. Those early years taught me something important: a memorable tour isn’t defined by how far you travel, but by how relaxed, welcomed, and connected you feel along the way.

Hello — I’m Michael Moore, an STGA Blue Badge Guide based in Edinburgh. Throughout our time together, my focus is simple: to ensure you feel completely at ease. There is never any need to hurry. Each day is shaped so you can settle naturally into the rhythm of the landscape.

I offer both one‑day tours and multi‑day journeys, from short escapes to three‑week adventures. Where we go is entirely shaped by you. Whether it’s Skye, Orkney, the Western Isles, or anywhere else that captures your imagination, I’ll always find the quieter corners — scenic, historical, or simply peaceful — that allow you to experience Scotland at its best. I love showing this country in all its variety, from modern engineering to ancient castles, and the pace and focus of each day are tailored entirely to your interests. I welcome all types of guests, and every tour is designed to feel personal, flexible, and centred around what matters most to you.

Scotland’s dramatic scenery and rich tapestry of stories can feel both exhilarating and vast. My role is to make that experience gentle, unhurried, and deeply personal — giving you the space and time to appreciate the country in your own way. If you’d like time to wander, we wander. If you’re in the mood for stories, I have plenty to share, from deep history to the wonderfully odd corners of our folklore.

I guide from behind the wheel of a luxury Land Rover Discovery HSE — smooth, spacious, and perfectly suited to Scotland’s landscapes. It can accommodate up to six guests for short journeys like day tours and transfers, and up to four for multi‑day adventures where comfort really matters. I also hold a bus licence, which means I can look after groups of up to sixteen when a larger vehicle is required. Whether it’s just a few of us or a fuller group, you’ll be travelling safely and comfortably. I take safety and rest seriously, but the mood on the journey stays relaxed. You’re here to enjoy yourself, after all.

Ready tae set aff?

Whether you fancy a wander through the Highlands, a quiet dram by the fire, or a deeper look into your family’s Scottish roots, I’ll craft a tour that feels just right for you. No rush, no fuss — just a warm welcome and a journey to remember.
